CompTIA's CTT + certification (Certified Technical Trainer) recognizes highly qualified trainers. The CTT + certification exam measures the skills and competencies a trainer needs to successfully complete a classroom activity in a classroom or virtual classroom environment. The areas of didactic knowledge covered by the CTT + certificate (a.k.a. "Train the Trainer") include course preparation, presentation, communication, moderation and assessment.

The performance-based test tests your hands-on teaching skills, where candidates send a 17 to 22-minute recording while teaching a compressed lesson to real students.
