Monitor disaster and recovery plans

Businesses must always be prepared for power outages, disruptions, and other disasters that could negatively affect their data and computer systems. In general, the IT department creates, implements and maintains recovery plans to ensure that all relevant information is stored and can be removed in the event of a disaster.

Create activity logs to update and maintain

IT generally keeps track of modernization and maintenance systems. They keep track of when and when updates are available, when repairs are needed, and any improvements to the IT infrastructure.
